South Country School District’s Early Childhood Center prekindergarten students were thrilled to welcome Kreamer Street Elementary School third graders into their classrooms for special reading sessions. During the sessions, the third graders read classics including “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” and “The Tortoise and the Hare” and then engaged the younger students in fun activities related to the books.

Kindergarten students at Kreamer Street Elementary School recently learned about bicycle and car safety as part of a Teddy Bear Clinic sponsored by Stony Brook University Children’s Hospital Trauma Center. They also had the opportunity to diagnose their bears with an injury and treat them with bandages.
